![]() The bots are of no match against human players. You can use them shoot down planes, passing jeeps, people whether they're moving, strafing, or stationary, and of course tanks. Thing is you can kill many things with 1 bazooka shot even though there's no splash, so people (including me) use the darn things to snipe instead of a sniper rifle. The bazooka's in BF1942 don't have splash dmg, so you actually had to hit them directly. Throw a nade at their feets, and they still stand there and shoot at you. So much so I can fire a bazooka and hit them from a distance away. I remember how back in the day the bots would be "smarter" on stronger computers and get notably dumber as you increased their number to the maximum. ![]() It has a huge impact on how quickly bots react to your presence (or at least it did back in the day, I don't know how bot behaviour and the impact of that option may have changed as CPUs have gotten much more powerful). Seriously, though, IIRC the game provides an option somewhere to allocate CPU time to the AI or something, don't know if you've tweaked that value. ![]()
